Before founding Carisa Travel Group, our founder worked as a tour guide, welcoming visitors to Finland and helping them discover the country's culture, nature and traditions. Along the way, travellers would often turn to him for recommendations, travel advice and help with arrangements. With hospitality at the heart of everything he did, he was always happy to find solutions and make every journey smoother.

As word spread, more groups requested him as their guide. Guests valued not only his local knowledge but also his ability to take care of every detail. Soon, requests expanded beyond Finland, with travellers asking for help planning experiences across the Nordic region.

When the time came to create the company, choosing a name was easy. It was inspired by his two beloved daughters, combining their names into a single identity. The name reflects the personal values on which the company was built: care, trust and treating every guest as if they were part of the family.
