The rest of the day is free to discover the Norwegian capital at your own pace. Explore the waterfront, visit one of the city's renowned museums or simply enjoy the city's relaxed Nordic atmosphere.

Day 2 | Discover Norway's Capital

Today, explore Oslo on a private guided tour with a driver along and gain insight into Norway's history, culture and way of life. Once a small Viking settlement, Oslo has grown into a modern capital known for its design, sustainability and strong connection to nature. Wander between historic landmarks and innovative new districts while learning how Norway evolved from a seafaring nation into one of the world's most prosperous countries. The remainder of the day is yours to explore independently.

Overnight: Amerikalinjen or similar

Day 3 | Scenic Rail Journey to Flåm

Leave the city behind as you travel through some of Norway's most spectacular mountain scenery by rail. Today's journey includes the legendary Flåm Railway, often considered one of the world's most beautiful train journeys. Originally built to connect remote fjord communities with the rest of Norway, the railway is a remarkable feat of engineering, descending from the mountain station of Myrdal through steep valleys, past frozen waterfalls and dramatic cliff sides before reaching the shores of the fjord.
Upon arrival, spend the night in the tiny village of Flåm, home to only a few hundred residents and nestled at the very end of the Aurlandsfjord. Despite its small size, Flåm has welcomed travellers, traders and explorers for generations, serving as an important meeting point between the fjord communities and the outside world. Visit the spectacular Stegastein Viewpoint, suspended 650 metres above the fjord, where panoramic views stretch across the snow-covered mountains and deep blue waters below. In the evening, enjoy a Viking-inspired dinner before settling in for an overnight stay surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Norway's fjord landscape.

Overnight: Fretheim Hotel or similar

Day 4 | Through the Fjords to Bergen

Cruise through the breathtaking Nærøyfjord, one of the narrowest and most dramatic fjords in Norway. Surrounded by towering mountains, frozen waterfalls and tiny settlements clinging to the shoreline, it is easy to understand why this landscape has earned UNESCO World Heritage status. The fjords have shaped life in Western Norway for centuries, serving as natural highways for traders, fishermen and local communities long before roads connected the region.
Upon arrival, continue your journey towards Bergen through some of Norway's most spectacular scenery. In Bergen, enjoy a privately guided city tour accompanied by your own driver and vehicle, allowing you to comfortably discover the city's most important landmarks and viewpoints. Once Norway's largest city and a key trading centre of the Hanseatic League, Bergen prospered through centuries of international commerce that connected Northern Europe with the fjord regions of Norway. Discover the colourful Bryggen Wharf, Bergenhus Fortress and the lively harbour area while hearing stories of merchants, sailors and explorers who helped shape the city's unique character. Scenic stops along the way provide excellent opportunities to admire and photograph the city, its surrounding mountains and its historic waterfront.

Overnight: Home Hotel Havnekontoret or similar

Day 5 | Leisure Day in Bergen

Enjoy a full day to experience Bergen at your own pace. Explore the charming wooden streets of Bryggen, visit local cafés and galleries, or ride the Fløibanen funicular for panoramic views across the city and surrounding fjords. Bergen's maritime heritage, vibrant cultural scene and welcoming atmosphere make it one of Norway's most beloved destinations.

Overnight: Home Hotel Havnekontoret or similar

Day 6 | From the Fjords to the Arctic

This morning, leave Western Norway behind and fly north to Tromsø, often called the Gateway to the Arctic. Located more than 300 kilometres above the Arctic Circle, Tromsø became famous during the great era of polar exploration when many expeditions to the North Pole departed from its harbour. Today, the city combines a youthful atmosphere with rich Arctic traditions and serves as one of the world's best locations for winter adventures and Northern Lights viewing.
After checking into your hotel, the remainder of the day and evening are yours to enjoy at leisure. Explore the city's lively harbour, browse local boutiques, discover cosy cafés and restaurants, or simply soak up the unique atmosphere of one of the northernmost cities in the world.

Overnight: Clarion The Edge or similar

Day 7 | Huskies and Arctic Heritage

Meet a team of enthusiastic Alaskan Huskies and experience the beauty of the Arctic wilderness on a memorable dog-sledding excursion. Surrounded by mountains and snowy landscapes, you'll gain insight into a tradition that has been an essential means of transportation in the far north for generations. Later, discover Tromsø on a guided city walk. Learn about the city's polar heritage, cross the famous Tromsø Bridge, and visit the striking Arctic Cathedral, whose design is said to reflect the surrounding Arctic landscape and snow-covered peaks.

Overnight: Clarion The Edge or similar

Day 8 | Into the Lyngen Alps

In the afternoon, you will be picked up in Tromsø and begin a scenic journey through Northern Norway's spectacular coastal landscapes towards the Lyngen region. Along the way, enjoy ever-changing views of snow-covered mountains, Arctic fjords and picturesque fishing communities, offering a glimpse into life above the Arctic Circle.
Travel deeper into Arctic Norway and arrive in the spectacular Lyngen region, known for its dramatic mountains rising directly from the sea. This remote corner of Northern Norway remains largely untouched by mass tourism, offering a true sense of wilderness and tranquillity. Settle into your lodge and take in the panoramic views of fjords and snow-covered peaks. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind in the outdoor sauna and jacuzzi, surrounded by Arctic nature. As darkness falls, keep watch for the Northern Lights overhead, a magical way to begin your stay in this remarkable wilderness retreat.

Overnight: Arctic Panorama Lodge

Day 9 | Snowshoeing and Arctic Stories

Venture into the pristine winter landscape on a guided snowshoe trek through untouched snowfields and scenic mountain terrain. The silence and purity of the Arctic environment create a truly special experience. As evening falls, gather around the fire for an engaging storytelling session where local legends, traditions and fascinating tales of life in the far north bring the region's heritage to life. Few natural phenomena have inspired more myths than the Northern Lights, and you'll hear some of the stories that have been passed down through generations.

Overnight: Arctic Panorama Lodge

Day 10 | Snowmobiles and Northern Lights at Sea

Today's adventure combines excitement and natural beauty. Explore the Arctic wilderness on a snowmobile safari through dramatic mountain scenery, taking in sweeping views across fjords and islands. Later in the evening, board a boat and head out onto the dark waters of the fjord in search of the Northern Lights. Away from artificial light, the Arctic sky reveals its full splendour, and with a little luck you may witness the Aurora Borealis reflected on the calm waters below.

Overnight: Arctic Panorama Lodge

Day 11 | Farewell Norway

Enjoy a final breakfast surrounded by Arctic scenery before transferring back to Tromsø for your departure flight. Take with you memories of Norway's vibrant cities, dramatic fjords, fascinating heritage and unforgettable Arctic experiences beneath the northern sky.
