Northern Lights hunting excursion

An evening chase away from the town lights, with photographer guides. The aurora is weather, not a booking — but the odds here are as good as they get.

Good to know

Before you travel

• Winter temperatures in Lapland range from 0 °C to as low as −30 °C, so proper winter clothing is essential.
• Thermal winter gear for snowmobiling and husky safaris is normally provided locally.
• The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed — but Lapland offers excellent viewing conditions.
• Daylight is short in the Arctic in winter, which is exactly what makes the landscapes and the aurora viewing what they are.
• Snowmobile drivers must carry a valid driving licence during the excursion.
• Most winter activities are suitable for beginners and are led by experienced local guides.

General terms

All services are subject to availability at time of booking. Prices are quoted in the currency indicated and are valid until the date specified in this offer. All prices are per person unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation

Cancellation charges apply as follows:
• More than 60 days before departure: No charge
• 30–60 days before departure: 25% of total package price
• 14–30 days before departure: 50% of total package price
• Less than 14 days before departure: 100% of total package price

Payment

A deposit of 25% of the total package price is required within 7 days of booking confirmation. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the scheduled departure date.
