Day 1 | Welcome to Lapland
Arrive in Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland, located directly on the Arctic Circle. Nearly destroyed during the Second World War, the city was rebuilt to a visionary design by Finland's celebrated architect Alvar Aalto, whose influence can still be seen throughout the city today. This evening, travel into the snowy wilderness to visit the remarkable Arctic SnowHotel, an extraordinary structure recreated each winter entirely from snow and ice. Discover its beautifully carved snow suites, Ice Chapel and Ice Bar before returning to Rovaniemi. Far from the city lights, the surrounding Arctic landscape provides excellent opportunities to witness the Northern Lights dancing across the northern sky.

The suit keeps you warm and buoyant, allowing you to drift effortlessly in the icy waters while surrounded by the vast frozen expanse of the Baltic Sea, an unforgettable Arctic experience enjoyed by only a fortunate few.
Back in Rovaniemi, join an evening Northern Lights excursion, heading into the Arctic wilderness with an expert guide to search for the magical aurora beneath Lapland's dark skies. Upon arrival, settle into your glass igloo accommodation by a peaceful lake near a traditional Sámi reindeer ranch.
