Day 2 | Snowshoeing Through the Winter Wonderland

Wake up to the silence of the Arctic wilderness and enjoy breakfast before heading out on a guided snowshoe adventure. Walking on snowshoes has been a practical mode of travel in northern regions for centuries, allowing people to cross deep snow long before roads and modern transport reached these remote landscapes.

As you move through snow-covered forests and frozen terrain, your guide introduces you to the wildlife, nature and traditions of Finnish Lapland. The scenery is pristine and untouched, with snow-laden trees creating a magical winter landscape.

In the evening, embark on an Aurora Night excursion. Travel by snowmobile sleigh into the wilderness and gather around a campfire while listening to fascinating stories and local folklore surrounding the Northern Lights. For generations, the aurora has inspired myths among northern cultures, who often believed the lights carried messages from the spirit world. If conditions are favourable, you may witness the green ribbons of light dancing across the Arctic sky.

Day 3 | Leisure Day and Arctic SnowHotel Experience

Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Spend the morning and afternoon exploring the surroundings using the complimentary snowshoes, forest skis or toboggans. Wander through the snowy forest, enjoy the crisp winter air, and embrace the simple pleasures of a true Lapland winter.

This evening, visit the famous Arctic SnowHotel. Each winter, the hotel is rebuilt entirely from snow and ice, making every season unique. During a guided visit, discover beautifully carved snow suites, ice sculptures and frozen artwork created by skilled Arctic craftsmen.

Your experience concludes with a three-course dinner in the extraordinary Ice Restaurant, where even the tables and decor are sculpted from snow and ice. The combination of Arctic artistry and Nordic cuisine creates one of Lapland's most memorable dining experiences.

After breakfast, travel by private transfer deeper into the Arctic wilderness, where vast forests, roaming reindeer and complete tranquility define the landscape. Far from artificial light and busy roads, this remote region offers an authentic connection to nature and some of the best conditions in Lapland for viewing the Northern Lights.

Settle into your unique accommodation, designed to bring the Arctic sky and surrounding wilderness closer while maintaining comfort and privacy. As darkness falls, embark on a Northern Lights snowmobile excursion, travelling through the snowy landscape to carefully selected viewing locations. Along the way, your guide shares stories, legends and fascinating insights into the aurora, while a stop by the campfire with local treats allows you to fully appreciate the stillness and beauty of the Arctic night.

Day 5 | Husky Adventure Across the Arctic Wilderness

Today offers one of Lapland's most iconic experiences: a husky safari through the snowy wilderness. Huskies have been trusted companions in the north for generations, helping people travel across vast Arctic regions long before modern transportation.

Meet your enthusiastic team of dogs and head into the winter landscape, gliding through forests and across open snowy terrain. The only sounds are the runners of the sled on the snow and the eager breaths of the huskies leading the way.

Midway through the journey, stop at a traditional Lappish kota hut for hot drinks and snacks while learning more about life with sled dogs in the Arctic. After returning to the kennel, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Overnight: Nivunki Village

Day 6 | A Day to Slow Down

Enjoy a relaxing day immersed in the peaceful atmosphere. This part of Lapland is defined by its vast forests, fresh air and remarkable silence, qualities that have shaped northern life for centuries.

Take a walk through the surrounding wilderness, observe reindeer roaming the property, or simply spend time enjoying your Northern Lights Hut. With almost no light pollution, every evening offers another opportunity to look skyward in search of the aurora borealis.
